FALL….IN…..OHIO with my family of course!

It’s been quite a while, but I have resurfaced from moving, sick kids, sick self, bone marrow biopsies, etc….  And I must say, it’s good to be back.  I have been yearning for a bit of down time to catch up on sharing some of my last few sessions of the year.  So… with that in mind, I bring you a very McKinley Christmas.  Just a few snaps of my kiddos enjoying our holiday weekend.  I had to dust off my camera and find some film (oh how I love moving!).  It felt good to get out and shoot for myself again.  One of my desires for the new year is to continue to work on my own personal photographic journey and to do a lot more shooting for more families with sick children.  I can’t wait for 2012!

So I might have mentioned in an earlier post how much I love Fall time.  When my other two kids heard little brother went to the apple orchard, they insisted in going too.  Who am I to argue???  Gorgeous trees, pumpkins, the smell of kettle corn in the air.  I AM SO THERE!!!

We headed over to the Jonagold orchard and went nuts finding the biggest apples our hands could hold.  It was a beautiful crisp day with the sun peeking in and out of the clouds floating by.  There is nothing more beautiful then watching your children run, laugh and have fun in between the apple trees.  Did I mention how much I love Fall time????

in the McKinley house!!!  We took our first trip to the local apple orchard this year. I must admit, I have an obsession with fresh picked apples.  A few weeks ago I went with some of our friends from MOPS to Lynd Fruit Farm.  Mmmmm, apples!!!

We had a fun little trip on the tractor out to the orchards, where the kids got to pick their own apples.  I love seeing eyes wide open and mouths too small for huge bites of sweet, juicy, fresh picked apples.  Of course we couldn’t leave without visiting the Market to get a few extra apples to take home.  Mmmmm, apples!!!

It was also fun looking at all the amazing gourds and pumpkins they had available too.  Couldn’t leave without taking a few beautiful pumpkins home either.  Ahhhh, I LOVE Fall time.
